The PluPro Project is designed to enhance the impact and sustainability of cross-border investigative journalism across Europe. With a focus on smaller media outlets and independent teams often overlooked by larger funding initiatives, PluPro provides targeted financial support through a series of small- and mid-sized grants and hands-on training and mentoring.

PluPro is designed for investigative journalists tackling complex stories that require collaboration across national borders. PluPro will roll out three grant rounds between 2024 and 2026, offering funding and a training program including offline and online workshops and standalone learning modules and expert mentoring. Scholarships are available to selected journalists.

By supporting diverse, independent journalistic voices, the project helps promote transparency, democratic accountability, and media freedom throughout Europe.
