CARSI is an EU-funded mobility network bringing together 16 institutions studying social and human development in Caucasus and Central Asia to train fellows through secondment and eventually produce new empirical knowledge on the region. The aim is to contribute social innovation approaches while working to transform research findings into policy recommendations.
The consortium brings together researchers and practitioners from partner institutions for shared fieldwork, training, and data collection. The goal is to produce first-hand empirical evidence on the region, rather than relying on the previous knowledge that has shaped EU–Central Asia and EU–Caucasus relations.
